Masjid Al Aqsa History   مسجد اقصی  مسلمانوں کا قبلہ اول اور خانہ کعبہ اور مسجد نبوی کے بعد تیسرا مقدس ترین مقام ہے۔ مقامی مسلمان اسے المسجد الاقصیٰ یا الحرم القدسی الشریف کہتے ہیں یہ مشرقی یروشلم میں واقع ہے جس پر اسرائیل کا قبضہ ہے۔ یہ یروشلم کی سب سے بڑی مسجد ہے جس میں 5 ہزار نمازیوں کی گنجائش ہے جبکہ مسجد کے صحن میں بھی ہزاروں افراد نماز ادا کر سکتے ہیں 2000ء میں الاقصیٰ انتفاضہ کے آغاز کے بعد سے یہاں غیر مسلموں کا داخلہ ممنوع ہے حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سفر معراج کے دوران مسجد حرام سے یہاں پہنچے تھے اور مسجد اقصیٰ میں تمام انبیاء کی نماز کی امامت کرنے کے بعد براق کے ذریعے سات آسمانوں کے سفر پر روانہ ہوئے قرآن مجید کی سورہ الاسراء میں اللہ تعالی نے اس مسجد کا ذکر ان الفاظ میں کیا ہے: " سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي أَسْرَى بِعَبْدِهِ لَيْلًا مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى الَّذِي بَارَكْنَا حَوْلَهُ لِنُرِيَهُ مِنْ آَيَاتِنَا إِنَّه هُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ" (قرأن كريم، سورة الإسراء آیت نمبر 1) " پاک ہے وہ ذات جو اپنے بندے کو رات ہی رات میں م...
