When the First Submarine was Built/Invented

It is generally known that the use of the submarine dates back to 1630 and its inventor is the "Corps Nelus van Drill" from the Netherlands, but the fact is that the Muslims invented the submarine in the first century AH !!
Yes, the submarine invented by the Muslims in the first century AH was called "Simkat-ul-Bahr" meaning marine fish, military historian and military historian and expert "Mardi bin Ali Al-Tarsusi" who died in 589, his book " This submarine is mentioned in the commentary of Arbab Al-Abab Fi Kifiyat Al-Najat Fi Al-Huroob Al-Aswa. This book was compiled by Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi (may Allah have mercy on him).
The author writes in his book that every effort was made to conquer Constantinople in the caliphate of Amir Mu'awiyah ibn Abi Sufyan, but no weapon worked, so Mu'awiyah said that water was needed. The Muslims invented a submarine and named it "Simkat-ul-Bahr" (Sea Fish), which helped water-powered boats and ships.
In addition to this book by Allama Mardi, the submarine is mentioned by Claude Kahn in Damascus-based magazine No. 83, 84. The name of this magazine is "Arab Heritage Magazine".
